It was the end of the road for this five young men who reportedly gang rape an innocent lady in a bush in Enugu state. The Enugu state Police Command on Friday arrested five men who ganged raped an old woman in a bush. Report made by the victim identified as Tochi from Isiala– Ngwa South LGA, led to the arrest of one Ihechinmere who was her son and some of his friends bt name Jude Onyeocha, Otumdi Onyeocha, Chiemezuo John, and Emmanuel Ekpo all of Umuala Village.

Parading the suspects along with others before newsmen at the state police headquarters the Commissioner of Police, CP ‘ Leye Oyebade said his men also foiled a kidnap attempt and arrested the suspects.

Sequel to an information received on 02/03/2017 at about 1400hrs, from one Kingsley Okoronkwo ‘ m’ of Ogbor- Hill in Aba, that some boys have concluded plots to kidnap him; detectives attached to Eziama Division swung into action and arrested the following suspects

During interrogations it was discovered that the woman who was the rape victim was being raped by her son.

According to the woman she felt like ING herself, she regretted having a son as bad as this one.

The boy who told the police during an interview said he plotted the rape of his mother because he has never believed the woman was her biological mother, he told the police he purposely told his friends to come with him and rape his mother.

The state police commissioner while speaking at the police headquarters said the arrested this suspects based on intelligence reports given to them by some concern neighbors who witnessed when the poor woman was been raped, not only that the woman was raped but she was also beaten and maltreated at the process.

According to the police CP useful statement have been gotten from the suspects and they will soon be charge to court.
