Arresting of the notorious kidnapper evens was something that shocked everybody infact Evans was one Man nobody believed will ever be arrested, the notorious kidnapper has been in the kidnapping business for years and has trained so many boys.

The Police officer who led the arrest of kidnap kingpin Evans was nobody else than sergeant lanre and was shot dead. Here’ s how it happened.
Sergeant Lanre Sanusi was part of the Anti kidnapping squad that brought down on the Fred Shoboyejo home of kidnap kingpin Evans, one Saturday morning in June.
He wasn’ t the head of the team though. But That honour was given to the assistant commissioner of police Abba Kyari who heads the Intelligence Response Team of the Nigeria Police Force.
The police officer colleagues described him as a brave and fearless police officer who took the maxim, ‘ obey the last order command to heart.
On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, news filtered in that Sanusi had been outgunned by another group of suspected kidnappers in Delta State during yet another operation.
It was a gun duel that would end his life and time in the police force. It would turn out his last operation as a police officer.
In a statement issued out by the head Kyari said ” Sanusi was shot in a gun battle with the abductors of four British citizens in Delta State on Wednesday and died at noon on Friday.
The death of that police officer was a great lost to the police force the assistant commissioner of police described the officer as a very dedicated officer who doesn’ t take bribe, he was suspected to have been killed by Evans Boys.
The police boss said that some of those boys were also arrested and killed.
They finally prayed that their gallant officer, who died in the line of duty, will rest in peace and the almighty God will give his family the fortitude to bear the loss, Ameen, ” Kyari wrote in a statement.
