Nigerians Reacts as Police Announce N10m Reward for Anyone who can Disclose Whereabouts of Suspects in CCTV Footage (Details below)
Nigeria Police Force is seeking the help of citizens to help in the investigation of a crime. The police have released a bulletin of some individuals wanted for commiting an offense. The authorities the actual crime being investigated was not disclosed.
Nigerian Twitter users have been reacting to a post by the police where it announced a whopping N10m reward for anyone who can give useful information on the whereabouts of some suspects captured in CCTV footage.
The post was shared via the official Twitter handle of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), on Thursday, February 4. The bulletin contained the still pictures of two suspects who were captured by the CCTV at a crime scene.

According to the police, citizens who intend to report the incident to visit the closest police station.

The police also Nigerians who are capable of arresting on the suspects can do so and hand them over to the nearest police station.
The authorities further disclosed numbers citizens who want to share information can call.
However, some citizens who reacted to the post questioned why the police could not use biometric data to track the suspects.

You have all our data, bvn, finger print, passport photograph, nin and you’re still giving ten million to the public to look for someone with only picture that is not even clear.
Another group said they want upfront payment before they provide assistance to the police on the issue.
