“Don’t blame Bauchi Gov for supporting herdsmen carrying arms ‘Every Nigerian should own Ak-47’ (Details below)
Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has proclaimed that “every Nigerian should purchase the Ak-47 rifle.”
Nnamdi Kanu said this in a tweet, responding to the statement made by the Governor of Bauchi state, Bala Mohammed, that Fulani Herdsmen have to carry Ak-47 rifles to protect themselves.
Kanu wrote; “Dear indigenous Nigerians: Instead of faulting Fulani Gov of Bauchi for justifying AK47 assault riffles for herdsmen, you should urgently embark on the business of getting one for yourself.”
“For how long will this trumpet of war sound before you beat your plowshares into weapons.”
The Bauchi state governor has had his statement met with great criticism for justifying why Herdsmen should carry AK-47 rifles.
