Over 1,000 New Cases Of COVID-19 Recorded In Nigeria Once Again

The second wave of the deadly COVID-19 disease is really causing havoc in Nigeria.
With each passing day, the number of new infections being recorded keeps soaring up and it is becoming serious.

A recent update by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) revealed that over 1,000 new infections have been recorded..



The actual number of new infections recorded was 1,024 and this was revealed in a recent update by the agency on Twitter.

The update reads;

Our discharges today includes 253 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.

In a recent post, the director of the agency also advised Nigerians to take all COVID-19 safety protocols serious.

The tweet reads;

“The #COVID19 pandemic is not over, but the availability of vaccines will bring us closer to controlling the acute phase of this pandemic

Our sister agency, @NphcdaNG is providing leadership to ensure access to & distribution of #COVID19 vaccines in Nigeria”
