OH MY GOD!!! Woman Arrested For Beating Her Husband For Failing To Impregnate Her (Details below)

Would you call it brutality or she was right? A housewife has been remanded by a magistrate court in Nigeria for beating her husband over his inability to get her pregnant after so many times of trying.


According to the wife identified as Mrs. Chinwendu Chita, she has been married to her husband for some years now but she is still unable to get pregnant for her husband and from the look of things, her husband is also not showing any commitment of they having a child of their own.

Some sources have revealed that this is not the first time the lady has been assaulting her husband stating that it started as far back as 2018.

It continued that due to that, her husband for some time refused to go back to his matrimonial home until the police force in the area intervened but that rather made matters worse.


In December last year, it is said that she locked up her husband inside the house on and assaulted him by using a frying spoon to smash his head and face, causing him grievous injury and only let go of him after she took an amount of N650,000 before sparing him.

Chinwendu was said to have grabbed Okechukwu, beat him mercilessly, but he managed to run to the Police Station and reported the assault.

She has reportedly assaulted the female police officer who was sent to invite her to the station as well.

The police eventually arrested her, and she was charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates Court for the alleged assault on her husband and the police officer.

She pleaded not guilty, and the prosecutor, Supt. Kenneth Asibor, therefore asked the Court to give a date for hearing to enable the Police to prove that she actually committed the alleged offense.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Teslim Shomade, granted her bail in the sum of N700,000 with two sureties in like sum.

She was ordered to be remanded in prison custody pending when she would perfect her bail conditions while the matter was adjourned till March 11, 2020.
