Mr Onyekachi Adekoya, a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Industrial Security has buttressed Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed’s cry for global support in conquering the terrorist group Boko Haram.

Onyekachi Adekoya said this on Channels TV Sunrise Daily today, noting that the Nigerian Army knows the terrorists’ base and their mode of operation but lack the equipments to combat them.

“There is a constraint as to why the Nigerian military cannot deal with the issue of Boko Haram decisively. I have said on every platform that I have been given the opportunity to speak, we know where Boko Haram is, we know how they operate, what we don’t have is what we need to deal with the issue of Boko Haram”, he said.

“The international community can preach human rights and show concern all they want. It is also true that the military doesn’t have the equipment it requires. If you speak to battle field commanders, you will hear them sing the same song – equipments, equipments, equipments”, he said.
