Prior to her surgery Eman never moved out of her house for a period of 25 years. She was always been in the bed for that all period.

The woman was accompanied by a team of doctors and her sister to hospital. Upon arrival she underwent a series of Bariatric procedures.

She was also required to undergo stomach – shrinking bypass procedure inorder to remove musles to reduce body weight.

A spokesperson for the hospital in Mumbai said to local media past interview: ”She, along with her sister Shaimaa Ahmed, arrived in Mumbai at around 4am to prepare her for the flight. The team of doctors have been in Egypt for the last 10 days to optimise the conditions for her travel. Given the fact that she is so heavy, and not moved for the last 25 years, she is at high risk of suffering a pulmonary embolism. She has been put on blood thinners to try and minimise the chances of such an eventuality during her transfer. ”

Eman was born with this body condition and during her birth she weighed 11Lbs. During her childhood she was diagnosed with parasitic disease.

When she was 11 years she was unable to stand up due to her heavy weight and she resorted to crawling using her knees.

She later dropped out of primary school after suffering from celebrol stroke. This diseases made her to remain in bed causing her to remain in her room. She suffered paralysis in the right leg and arm and she was unable to walk.

The woman also suffered from a condition called Elephantiasis.
