There is a wide range of belief in Africa where people, especially the male gender see it as a norm to show their masculinity, superiority to the female counterpart by harassing them and beating them up. This has been going on for decades, and unfortunately it still reflects in this 21st century.

The assumption that a man can deal with his wife without her raising her hands against the man guaranteed many assault women go through in marriages nowadays.

But contrary to what many people believe, the video in this article shows how a woman fight back at her husband when he raised his hands to beat her.

With what the could be seen in the video, the man raised his hands to beat the woman as he started by putting slaps across her face and pushing her forward till her bicycle fell off.

This action by the man however provoked the woman. Contrary to what the man was expecting, the woman came back hard on the man as she pushed him till he ricocheted on fire – woods.

The woman began by throwing punches to the face of the man who is now laying down, then she went on to pick one of the sticks in front of her and hit the man with it.

It was after she started pinning down the man with the firewood that people came to rescue him[husband] from the woman.

The fight between this couple reflect what many families go through on daily basis. It is not advisable, in fact very bad for a man to raise his hands against his wife; it’s even worst for the woman to fight back. A man is expected to cherish his wife, while the woman suppose to be subservient and respectful. This video however shows the violence in many Marriages.
