Fresh Attack: Hours After Abducted Students Were Released, See What Has Happened In Zamfara State.

Insecurity has been one aspect the federal government of Nigeria have been trying to tackle.

The rate of attacks by bandits in the Northern part of Nigeria has been alarming.

Few days ago, over 300 students were abducted in a school in Katsina state. The Boko Haram group led by Shekau claimed responsibility for the abduction.

The abducted students were freed yesterday and Nigerians have been happy.

Few hours after the abducted Katsina students were released, another attack was recorded in Zamfara State.

The attack occurred along Gusau-funtua highway according to Saharareporters.

Sources said the Emir was on his way for an official function in Gusau when the gunmen attacked his convoy, killing three police officers.

A driver of a Hilux van in convoy, a senior guard to the monarch and one Dan Amal, who was an uncle to the Emir was also killed.
