“Do I Have To Take The Fall For It” – Omah Lay Expresses Displeasure Over Uganda Arrest Saga

Omah Lay has taken to his Twitter page to rant following his arrest in Uganda for going against the covid-19 preventive rules..

He complained bitterly about how bad he is being treated together with Tems. According to him, he has been treated like a murderer which is not supposed to be so. The Nigerian singer indicates that he went there to perform, hence was not aware of the measures head of him.

Being a citizen from a different country, the event manager and the venue manager should have alerted them on measures put in place against covid 19. He has raised concerns on why they would not allow the Nigerian government to be involved.

Due to the rapid spread of coronavirus in most countries, measures have been put in place to curb the spread of the virus. Programs have been canceled in some countries to prevent high cases from being recorded.

Other countries too have laid out conditions in wearing nose masks at all events. However, the failure of the Nigerian singer and event organizers to adhere to the protocols set against covid-19 led to their arrest.
