Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona: Koeman clears air on ‘fight’ between Messi, Griezmann
Barcelona manager, Ronald Koeman, has insisted there is no problem between captain Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann.
Messi earlier this week hit out at questions over a rumoured spat with Griezmann, after returning from international duty with Argentina saying he was tired of being blamed..
“I’m tired of always being the problem for everything at the club.”
That came after comments made by Griezmann’s former agent, Eric Olhats, claiming “Messi’s attitude has always been deplorable.”
Asked about the situation on Friday, Koeman said: “We have to respect people like Leo Messi much more.
“After such a long journey, to ask him things about Antoine shows a lack of respect.
“It’s an attempt from the media to create controversy.
“I have not seen any problem between Leo and Antoine.”
