Hilda Dokubo was born in Buguma in Rivers State. Hilda Dokubo was born as the first of six children in the family. Hilda Dokubo is a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt where she earned her Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Theatre Arts.

Hilda Dokubo started her acting career in 1992. She was known for her emotional and sad movies. Hilda came out one time to disclose that she gave birth to her son at the age of 16. She stated that it was tough raising a child at a very tender age but now her son is all grown up and now a graduate.
