14-year-old Girl Gang-raped And Infected With HIV By 10 Men In Katsina

10 rapist were arrested at Kwadage village, in Maiadua LGA of Katsina State for gang-raping and infecting a 14-year-old girl with HIV.

The police in katsina who secured their arrest identified the suspects as a 40-year-old Yau Miko, a 35-year-old Taade Nati, 35 Saminu Hashimu, 25; Mannir Yunusa, 35; Danladi Idi, 30, Rabiu Abdu, 40, Burhani Sanda, 30; Isiya Yunusa, 30; Musa Haru, 60; and Shafiu Mamman.

The suspects who were indicted in the rape offence were paraded at the command headquarters on Wednesday, November 18, 2020

The victim was raped at different times and occasions by the heartless men, according to the police.

The police stated that the arrest of the suspect followed a report by the victim’s father, Muazu Yakubu, at the Maiadua Police Division on November 6, 2020.

At the time of this report, the victim is undergoing medical examination at the Comprehensive Health Centre, Maiadua.
