UK Shuts Down Embassies In Nigeria Over EndSARS Protests
The United Kingdom has shut down its embassies in Nigeria following the recent #EndSARS Protests holding in several states across the country.
The protests seeking an end to Police brutality and Bad Governance degenerated into crisis leading to the loss of lives and property. The state is currently in chaos following the Tuesday night shooting on #EndSARS protesters at Lekki toll gate by Security agents..

The development generated a nationwide outrage causing hoodlums to launch attacks in several locations of the state on Wednesday.
The UK, in a statement made available to Edujandon.com highlighted that the closure of its offices is to ensure the safety of staff and visa applicants.
“Due to the ongoing protest in Nigeria and for the safety of both staff and applicants, our Nigeria centres will be closed for 48 hours at a minimum,”
“For applicants with booked appointments within this period, please you will need to reschedule your appointment for next week, from 26th October 2020.”
