“I can’t marry a man that doesn’t vote or care much for social justice” – Singer, 9ice estranged wife reveals

Former artiste manager and ex-wife of singer, 9ice, Toni Payne has revealed that she cannot marry a man that doesn’t vote or care for social justice.

According to the poet, men who do not vote or in anyway care for social justice, are not her spec when it comes to choosing a life partner..

In her words,

“I can’t marry a man that doesn’t vote or care much for social justice.”

A quick tour on Toni’s Twitter page depicts her as someone who’s interested in political discussions, and one who cares about social justice, therefore, it’s only right that she wants to marry her match.

In other news, Toni taking to social media has stated that being a woman in Nigeria can be difficult, as she describes Nigeria as a ‘female unfriendly environment’.

She tweeted,

Being a woman in Naija must be a super sport. Navigating through life with myopic minds surrounding you. I can’t imagine having to endure such a toxic – female unfriendly environment with no way out. I am fully aware of my privilege and I don’t take it for granted. Grateful!
