Sex For Grades – IMSU Lecturers, Njoku And Agomuo, caught while allegedly trying to sleep with student, to be probed by mgt

Two Imo State University (IMSU) lecturers have been caught in a sex-for-grade scandal as they were nabbed while allegedly trying to sleep with one of their students.



The lecturers have been identified as Prof. Emmanuel Agomuo, head of the Department of Biochemistry, and Prof. Victor Njoku, the head of the Department of Chemistry, in the University.

It was gathered that Agomuo was arrested nude in a video which has since gone viral while trying to have sex with one of his students a hotel room.




The victim who had agreed to the arrangement with the lecturer despite paying N150,000 bribe went ahead to inform the police who came with her to the hotel and raided the room with an arrest warrant when Agomuo was naked and handcuffed him while he was still naked

In another video, Prof. Njoku on the other hand could be seen masturbating after having carnal knowledge of one of his students who then recorded him without his knowledge. Reacting to the incident of Agomuo, IMSU spokesperson, Ralph Obinjoku in a statement made available to reporters on Wednesday , said a committee had been set up to investigate the incident.



The university management of IMSU has now reacted to the viral video of one of the lecturers, Emmanuel Agumuo, who was arrested while allegedly trying to sleep with one his students.

IMSU’s spokesperson, Ralph Obinjoku who reacted to the video said the Professor is currently being probed by the management of the institution. PUNCH also reported that he said the institution prohibits sex-for-mark and will therefore not take the matter for granted.

Obinjoku said,

“We just rose from an expanded management meeting and I want to tell you that a committee has been set up to investigate the authenticity or otherwise of the nude video, which had one of our lecturers.

“The university is not taking the development for granted and the vice-chancellor has asked the committee to do a thorough job. Our university does not tolerate sex-for-mark or any act that lowers the excellent academic standard of our citadel of learning.”
