Lady falls to her death while posing for pics on a date with her fiancé in Kenya

A Kenyan lady identified as Dorcas Jepkemoi Chumba has died after she plunged into a dam while posing for pictures while on a date with her fiancé, Benjamin Kazungu in Nandi County, Kenya.

According to reports, the 31-year-old was swept away on Sunday afternoon while her fiancé was using her phone to take pictures of her..

Kazungu said that he had taken his girlfriend out for a picnic at the famous falls to enjoy the breathtaking site of the waterfall.

He said that they had longed to hang out at the place as they both loved adventure.

But he did not know that it would be the last time he would ever see his girlfriend.

It was gathered that Mr Kazungu tried fruitlessly to rescue her from the raging waters.

The deceased’s brother Victor Kiptoo said ;

“The tragedy indeed took place and we have come to accept that Chumba is no more. We are, however, requesting for help to retrieve the body and give her a befitting send-off,”
