Europa: What Solskjaer said about Ighalo after Nigerian nets first Man Utd goal
Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, was full of praise for Odion Ighalo, after the striker opened his account for the club.
Ighalo marked his first start for the Red Devils, by scoring the second goal in their 5-0 win over Club Brugge in the Europa League.
The victory ensured United qualified for the round of 16 with a 6-1 aggregate win.
“He does what it says on the tin, he plays up front and we can play up to him and he can get hold of it.
“The goal was an example of what you want from Odion because the ball has gone over him, he spins quickly, gets in front of the centre back and just taps it in. That’s what we have been lacking a little bit,” Solskjaer told BT Sport.
