š² Soldier Goes Wild, Shoots 8 Colleagues Dead At Military Base
A soldier has reportedly gone wild, shooting eight of his own colleagues dead at their military base.
A Russian soldier has reportedly shot dead eight colleagues and injured two more at a military base in the country’s far east on Friday, according to Daily Mail UK.
The soldier opened fire at a military base in Russia’s Transbaikal Region, Russian media quoted the Russian Defence Ministry as saying.
The conscript turned his gun on his fellow soldiers after having a nervous breakdown, the ministry said as quoted by Interfax news agency.
The Defence Ministry statement reported by Interfax said the shooting had occurred at a time when the guard was being changed at the base.
The gunman has reportedly been detained.
