Atiku Reacts To Death Of Stanley Nwabia

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the February presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, has expressed sadness at the death of social commentator, Stanley Nwabia, Edujandon.com reports.

Mr Nwabia, 43, reportedly died on Sunday following an unsuccessful blood transfusion procedure in Lagos State.He was a supporter of the opposition PDP and unapologetic critic of President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a tweet on Sunday morning, Atiku said Nwabia’s sudden death is a cause for sobering emotions.”

He described the deceased as a patriotic Nigerian and forthright supporter of our great party,” praying that “God Almighty console his family and may his soul rest in peace.”

“It is a cause for sobering emotions to read about the sudden demise of @MrStanleyNwabia.

“A patriotic Nigerian and forthright supporter of our great party.

“God Almighty console his family and may his soul Rest In Peace,” he wrote.

The founder of Igbo news channel, Ikenga TV, Nwabia campaigned vigorously for Atiku before and after the presidential election.

He was adored by opposition commentators on social media for his unsparing criticism of President Buhari and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

A native of Abia State, Nwabia was born and lived in Lagos throughout his life.

He was survived by his wife and four children.
