Real Madrid ‘offer £110m plus Luka Modric for Neymar’
Real Madrid are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over the signing of Neymar.
The Spanish giants have reportedly offered a massive £110 million plus Luka Modric for Neymar.
Neymar has been the subject of intense transfer speculation this summer regarding a potential move away from Paris. Barcelona have been strongly linked with their former player even with the signing of Antoine Griezmann, who joined for £107 million earlier this summer.
But it appears their domestic rivals are working to sign the Brazilian superstar before Spain’s transfer deadline of September 2.
Neymar has been trying to force his way out of PSG after two seasons in France.
His days in Paris appear to be numbered with Leonardo revealing that the player can leave PSG if they receive the right offer.
“It’s clear to everyone [he wants to leave]. But in football, you say one thing today and tomorrow another … It’s amazing but it’s like that,” he said.
“The position is clear for all. But one thing is concrete today: he still has three years of contract with us. And since we have not received an offer, we cannot discuss anything.
“We have not received any offers. But we had, it’s true, very superficial contacts [from Barcelona]. They said they wanted to buy but we were not sellers.
“Neymar can leave PSG if there is an offer that suits everyone. But to date, we do not know if anyone wants to buy it or at what price.”
