Another penalty drama for Manchester United as Rashford misses spot-kick in 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace
There was yet another penalty drama for Manchester United as Marcus Rashford missed from the spot against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.
With Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s men 1-0 down at Old Trafford, Rashford was presented with a perfect opportunity to level the scores.
However, the striker wasted the big chance as he struck the inside of the post after Scott McTominay was brought down in the box.
Midfielder Paul Pogba suffered heavy criticism after he missed against Wolves at Molineux in controversial fashion last weekend.
But now it is Rashford who has blundered from the penalty spot with United trailing.
Solskjaer had during the week stopped Pogba from taking spot-kick for United making it Rashford’s sole responsibility.
