Thibaut Courtois has snubbed a potential move to Manchester United this summer in a swap deal with Real Madrid transfer target, David de Gea, the UK Sun reports.
Real Madrid have held interest in De Gea for a number of years and the Spanish heavyweights will revive their interest at the end of the season.
De Gea is settled in Manchester but would be tempted by the prospect of joining Real.
It is believed that talks between Real Madrid and Manchester United resulted in a proposal, which would see Courtois offered to United in exchange for De Gea.
But it is claimed that former Chelsea goalkeeper, Courtois, has told Real he is determined to stay at the Bernabeu and if he does leave, he would prefer to sign for Paris Saint-Germain.
Returning manager,.Zinedine Zidane dropped Courtois for his first game back in charge of Real, but claimed the decision did not mean Keylor Navas was his first-choice goalkeeper.
