We are safe and sound, says Osinbajo after helicopter crash-lands
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has reassured all those who have expressed sympathy with him and his entourage after a helicopter he was in crash – landed in Kabba , Kogi State , that they were safe and sound .On his verified Twitter handle , Osinbajo shared a video of himself inside a moving vehicle , signalling to a cheering crowd .
He tweeted , “ We are safe and sound ! Thank you to everyone who has expressed concern and thank you to the crew who managed the situation well . We believe that God will continue to keep us and Nigeria safe even as we go higher . ”
Osinbajo ’ s helicopter crash – landed in Kabba , while , he was on his way to a campaign rally in Kogi State .
Since then , dignitaries have been expressing their sympathies and thanking God for saving his life and those of his entourage .
