Senator Sani Warns WAEC Over President Buhari’s Certificate

Outspoken senator, Shehu Sani has issued a stern warning to the West African Examinations Council over the controversy surrounding Buhari’s certificate.

Senator Shehu Sani representing Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) in the National Assembly has warned the West African Examinations Council to steer clear of Nigerian politics or be destroyed by it.

Giving the advice, Senator Sani, who defected from the All Progressives Congress took issued the warning on Twitter on Sunday, November 4.

He noted in the tweet that dabbling into Nigerian politics was a very dangerous thing that could lead to the ‘sinking’ of the exams body.

His warning came just hours after controversy over President Muhammadu Buhari’s certificate took a turn when the presidency and WAEC disagreed on the reason for the issuance of an Attestation of Results to the president.
