Oby Ezekwesili has visited ex-military leader, Ibrahim Babangida as she intensifies effort to contest in the 2019 election.

Oby Ezekwesili, the presidential candidate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), has met with former military President, Ibrahim Babangida.

Oby shared the photo of the visit on her Twitter page yesterday.

“I had a very candid conversation with former head of state, Ibrahim Babangida in Minna after my speech on Human Capital Development at El Amin School yesterday. I made it clear that Nigeria must be taken out of the clutches of the Old Order. This is our mission.” she tweeted.

The meeting at the retired general’s house in Minna, Niger state, went under media radar and the details are yet to be made public.

The closed-door meeting lasted for hours. However, Nigerians have condemned the meeting.
