Thierry Henry shows ruthless streak by subbing a substitute in Monaco clash
He’s less than a fortnight into his managerial career but Thierry Henry has already shown he’s not afraid to make big decisions.
The Arsenal legend lost 2-1 to Strasbourg in his first game with Monaco and he was up against Club Brugge tonight in his first Champions League clash as a manager.
Henry turned to Sofiane Diop to come on in the 12th minute when Stevan Jovetic sustained an injury and showed his ruthless streak by taking the 18-year-old off in the 74th minute.
Henry’s wait for a first win at the club goes on as the Ligue 1 giants were held to a 1-1 draw with Brugge.
Moussa Sylla gave Monaco the lead after half an hour but Wesley Moraes equalised just before the interval.
