President Buhari To Meet APC Senators Today As Mass Defection Hits Party
President Muhammadu Buhari is set to meet with APC senators today as mass defection hits the party.
President Muhammadu Buhari will this evening meet with All Progressives Congress, APC, Senators at the First Lady’s Conference room, Presidential Villa, Abuja, Vanguard reports.
The meeting is coming a day after 15 Senators of the APC dumped the party to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and African Democratic Congress, ADC.
Although the Senate President, Bukola Saraki has not announced his defection from the ruling APC, it was not clear whether he would be part of the meeting. The meeting tonight is scheduled for 9pm.
