Eden Hazard’s dream move to Real Madrid takes dramatic turn
Chelsea could well keep Eden Hazard this summer, with Real Madrid set to end their interest in the winger.
Hazard has long pushed for a move to the La Liga side, but it seems that Real Madrid’s valuation of the player is poles apart from the one held by Chelsea.
The Express think that Chelsea are playing hardball – which considering Hazard himself is already refusing to sign a new deal with the Blues is a risky strategy – yet the Blues will not accept anything less than £200 million for the player, and want to shatter the world record, set when PSG landed Neymar from Barcelona the previous summer.
That’s nowhere near what Real see Hazard as being worth – and much more than they can afford to boot, meaning they may well shelve plans to land the winger, and force Hazard himself to consider other options.
