Cristiano Ronaldo sends message to Messi after move to Juventus

Juventus new signing Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a message to Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi after completing his move from Real Madrid to Serie A Champions on Monday evening.
Portugal skipper and Argentina number have been considered the best in the world for the last decade and have been at the heart of the rivalry between both five-times Ballon d’Or.

Ronaldo was officially unveiled as a Juventus player on Monday and giving the number seven shirt but the battle with Messi may no longer have the same intensity due both stars are now playing in a different league.

The 33-year-old effect is certainly strong as Juventus have sold 520,000 jerseys of their new man on the first day of its official release

But when asked about his rivalry with Messi, Ronaldo replied: ‘I do not see other players as rivals, that’s not who I am.
“It was a good challenge with Messi. ‘All of you liked it and it was interesting. But I never saw it as a rivalry. “You always want to give it your

all for your team.
“This is what I did for Sporting, Manchester United and Real Madrid. He has done so for Barcelona. ‘At the end of the day when all is said and done, we will then see who is the best player between myself and Messi.’ quoted by Metro.
Ronaldo, who joined Bianconerri and become his fourth club after playing for Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
