#WorldCup 2018: What Kanu Nwankwo said ahead of Argentina clash with Nigeria
Nwankwo Kanu has backed the Super Eagles to beat Argentina in their final Group D game in Saint Petersburg at the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday.
Nigeria currently occupies the second position in Group D with three points having managed a 2-0 win over Iceland on Friday.
Argentina occupies last place with one point after they were thrashed 3-0 by Croatia on Thursday.
A win against Jorge Sampaoli’s men will send the Super Eagles into the second round, while a draw will be enough depending on the outcome of the game between Croatia and Iceland.
Kanu tweeted, “Nigeria vs Argentina can you believe? Yes we can and can we do it? Yes we can. Up Super Eagles.
