Sergio Ramos has told his Spanish teammates that his teammate at Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo will be dangerous for them in the 2018 World Cup Group B clash with Portugal on Friday.
Ronaldo will lead Portugal against Spain in Sochi on Friday night against Spain in the Group B opener in Russia.

Ramos said he preferred to be playing in the same team with Ronaldo rather than against the star forward.

He added that he hopes the 33-year-old is not at his best at the Fisht Olympic Stadium.

He told Sportskeeda, “I’d rather have him on my team than against me. We know how dangerous he can be. He ended the season in outstanding shape.

“He’s a constant threat. Not only Ronaldo but the Portugal squad is very talented. There are many players who can hurt you quickly, a lot of skill and safe in their defensive formation.

“We will see a match for all sports lovers. It will be beautiful. I hope Cristiano doesn’t play his best match.

The last time Spain and Portugal met was at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, and David Villa scored the only goal that sent the Spanish team to the quarter final.
