Policemen in Ghana are hunting the men who brutally stabbed a Nigerian man to death in the country over an incident.
The Kasoa District Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of a Nigerian man, Shoot Ogani, at Kasoa on Wednesday.

According to the police, the deceased was allegedly stabbed by one Abbas Abdul, who is currently on the run.

Shoot Ogani was rushed to the St. Gregory Catholic Hospital at Budumburam but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue of the hospital for onward transfer to the Police Hospital for preservation and autopsy.

The police said the hunt for Abbas Abdul will continue alongside investigations into the murder.

Meanwhile, the Kasoa Police arrested 27 suspected criminals in a swoop organised on Wednesday.

The suspects were grabbed at High Tension, a suburb of Kasoa.

Mobile phones, knives, round boards used for gambling, money and others were retrieved from the suspects in the operation.

Briefing the media on the swoop, the Kasoa District Commander of the Ghana Police, Supt. Stephen Kofi Ahiatafu, vowed that the police were poised to continue such swoops at Kasoa and its environs.

He said his outfit is “determined to make Kasoa uncomfortable for criminals”.
