Wizkid is the rave of the moment! Four new singles on a Friday morning and we can feel the speakers getting ready to vibe to the sound this weekend.
Wizkid Ayo Balogun released
Aphrodisiac , Lagos Vibes,
Highgrade feat. Ty Dolla $ign and Commando.
Commando features new Starboy Records signee Ceeza Milli was earlier promised and is off Legendary Mut4y’s forthcoming project. The laidback “Aphrodisiac” produced by Northboi Beatz samples Ashanti’s vocals on rapper Ja Rule’s 2001 classic “Always on Time”.
Lagos Vibe and the Ty Dolla $ign featured Highgrade take on much higher tempos. This would be the second the Starboy is collaborating with the American singer. The two had worked together on “One For Me” off Wizkid ’s 2017 Sounds From the Other Side EP.
With each song, Wizkid puts his versatility on display as he astutely switches between genres.
