Salihamidzic: Robben And Ribery Could Sign Renewals
Sporting director at Bayern Munich, Hasan Salihamidzic has hinted at renewals for Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.
The veteran wingers have deals set to expire at the end of the season, but could remain beyond this season.
Ribery has not hidden his feelings on wanting to remain with the Bavarians, to extend his stay to a 12th season.
Robben has spent nine seasons at the club and could stretch it to ten, if the extension is confirmed.
Salihamidzic has now revealed a one year contract has been proposed to the pair.
“We have held several talks with Arjen and Franck and spoke about a deal until June 30, 2019 yesterday,” he said. “We will have news in the next days.”
