Lanre Gentry shades estranged wife Mercy Aigbe as he congratulates Gabriel Afolayan
Few days ago, Nollywood actor, Gabriel Afolayan tied the nupitial knots with his beautiful wife Banke in Ibadan, in a star studded traditional marriage. Lanre Gentry, estranged husband of actress, Mercy Aigbe, who congratulated him over the big move, also shaded his estranged wife who he got soiled up with in their marital crisis last year.
Lanre Gentry who addressed Mercy Aigbe as a prostitute pretending to be a wife, said he knows Gabriel Afolayan made the right choice. Here’s is what he wrote;
My brother congratulations on your wedding, I pray you to your marriage and I know God have made your wife the best not the prostitute that we pretend as wife @gabbyluccii God will protect your home in Jesus name
However following the backlash he got, he edited the post and wrote;
My brother congratulations on your wedding, I pray to your marriage and I know God have made your wife the best woman for you . @gabbylucciii God we protect your home in Jesus name .
Nollywood actor Gabriel Afolayan and his bride Banke had their traditional wedding in Ibadan on Thursday. It was a star-studded ceremony which literally shut down social media in Nigeria on Thursday.
Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Mo’Cheddah, Adeniyi Johnson, Tope Tedela, Wole Ojo, Tunde Demuren and more celebrities were all spotted at the ceremony. The couple who they had their introduction ceremony on Wednesday in Osogbo, Osun State will have their white wedding on Saturday.
The couple reportedly began dating about 18 months ago. Afolayan, who is also known by his musical stage name G-Fresh, posted their pre-wedding photos on Instagram.
The talented actor is part of the renowned Afolayan entertainment family that comprises Ade Love (their late father), Kunle Afolayan, Aremu Afolayan among others. Banky W and Adesua were also dragged on social media, for stealing all the attention at the actor Gabriel Afolayan’s wedding.
