P aul Pogba was forced out of training on Friday ahead of Manchester United’s clash with Liverpool .

The Mirror says he will undergo a late fitness test early on Saturday which will determine whether he is able to take part.

It would be a huge blow for United if their record signing is unable to play as the Red Devils look to hold off their fierce rivals in the race for second spot behind runaway leaders Manchester City .

Jose Mourinho ‘s side currently sit two points clear of the Reds going into the weekend’s Old Trafford showdown.

Pogba hasn’t always seen eye to eye with Mourinho this term and his form has been, at times, indifferent, but he remains a vital player for the Special One.
