Esther Grace, a deaf-mute orphan just became an internet sensation after a Twitter user shared her photo with American music star, Rihanna .

Hi, @ rihanna Her name is Esther Grâce, she is a deaf-mute orphan who lives in Cameroon. I don’t know why but everytime I look at her, I think about you. Please, could do something magic for her ?
Few weeks ago, we reported that 18-year-old Indian teenager, Priya Prakash Varrier who winked briefly in a video clip that features the song “Manikya Malaraya Pooviher” from her debut film ‘Oru Adaar Love’, gained over 1.3 million followers in one day and also became most searched on Google.


The song video broke the internet within few hours of its release on YouTube, and garnered over 8.8 million views in less than 4 days with the video and its star getting the attention and hearts of hundreds of thousands.

In her film debut in the music video which depicts a quintessential high-school romance as a boy and a girl exchange flirtatious glances, Priya’s expressions and playful wink catapulted her to overnight stardom and dubbed her as a “national crush”.

Priya who couldn’t hide her surprise as she joined Twitter, tweeted; “Can’t believe this.”

However Priya’s family members are not happy with her overnight fame,as they questioned how she is going to cope with her studies. Her mother Preetha who spoke to TNM on phone said;

“Priya has gone to the hostel,” then immediately prepared to hang up. She later opened up, saying that the instant fame has left them stymied.

“The director has told us strictly not to give any interviews,” she says. “He has said she’s to give interviews only after the film releases. The film has just started and they’ve shot only a little bit. I’ve sent her to the hostel because of all this noise.”
