Man City Reportedly Offered Eden Hazard For Sergio Aguero In A Swap Deal

Manchester City could be offered a remarkable swap deal for Sergio Aguero, as City are said to be interested in a British-record move to secure the services of Eden Hazard in the summer transfer window.

Chelsea would reportedly ask Manchester City for Sergio Aguero if Eden Hazard head to the Etihad, according to The Sun UK.

The Premier League leaders have been linked with a British record £150million bid for the Belgian wizard.

And some reports are claiming Chelsea would consider letting their star man Hazard, 27, go if they got Aguero, 29, as part of the deal.

The Blues are fighting off Real Madrid for Hazard but are even less likely to sell to a Premier League rival.

A deal seems unlikely with both players having two years left on their current deals.

Aguero has also hinted that he wants to see out the rest of his contract before returning to boyhood club Independiente.

And Chelsea are desperately trying to tie down Hazard to a new deal on £300,000-a-week.

Pep Guardiola missed out on the signing of Alexis Sanchez, with Manchester United swooping in to land him from Arsenal.

And he is still targeting an elite-level attacking player.

City have by far the best squad in the Premier League, and appear to be running away with the title as they hold a 16-point lead over Manchester United.
