See What Happened To 2 Men After Being Caught Stealing
Two men who were reportedly caught stealing in a Lagos State community, have been brutally attacked and dealt with by a mob.
No less than two thieves have been lynched at the weekend, in Isheri Oshun area of Lagos State when a mob descended on them after they snatched a motorcycle from one Soliu Azeez of Rubutu Street, in Kudeibu Estate at about 9:30p.m.
According to Vanguard, an eyewitness, Tobi Alade, said immediately the robbers stole the motorcycle, the victim raised the alarm, which alerted people in the neighbourhood.
They were caught and lynched.
A Police source told Vanguard that at about 11p.m. on Saturday, the Police at Isheri Oshun Division received a distress call that some thieves were caught at Ijeidodo Road.
Immediately, the Divisional Police Officer and some of his officers raced to the scene.
Vanguard gathered that when the officers got there, they discovered the corpses of the two yet-to-be-identified men in a gutter.
Contacted, Lagos State Police Command’s spokesman, Olarinde Famous-Cole, said he will get back to us, but had not done so at press time.
