More revelations have emerged about the sudden death of Jide, the first son of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who died on Wednesday.

Jide embarked on binge drinking on Tuesday night before he suffered a heart attack on Wednesday, leading to his death.

Credible sources within the family also revealed that “Jide indeed lived a reckless life”.

It was gathered that Jide went clubbing on Tuesday night and had more than “a couple of drinks”.

Owing to his lifestyle, Jide was said not to be a

“favoured” child in the Tinubu family.

One of the sources said contrary to the impression outside, Jide was not “exposed to too much money” by Asiwaju Tinubu.

Informed sources explained that Tinubu knows his children intimately and handles each one based on behaviour.

He is said to be a stickler for discipline and would not tolerate any untoward behaviour from any of his children.

The Eagle Online gathered that the Third Day Prayer for Jide will be held on Friday (today) at Tinubu’s house on Sunday Adigun Street, Alausa, Ikeja.

They were said to have jetted out to the United Kingdom to meet with the wife and children of Jide.

A source said: “Asiwaju and Senator Oluremi have travelled to the UK to see Jide’s wife and children in order to “reassure them that all is well”.
