Why Davido Didn’t Pay Tagbo Umeike Last Respect (See Photos From Burial Ceremony)
There are those who hold the opinion that singer Davido shunned the burial of Tagbo Umeike, one of his friends who died under controversial situations.
Umeike died from suffocation and alcohol poisoning a day to his birthday at Shisha Lounge in Lekki, Lagos on October 2.
At the burial of Umeike on Friday, October 20th at his family compound at Osumenyi, Anambra State, Davido was conspicuously absent.
The singer, choose to be at the Palace of Oba Ewuare II of Benin Kingdom who celebrated the first year anniversary of his coronation.
This move surprised a lot of people, as Davido and B-Red among other crew members of HKN Gang were at the lying in state and burial of DJ Olu.
While some people hold the opinion that the pop star abused his relationship with the deceased by not paying him his last respect others say he had to return to his business having missed a couple of shows.
Recall that Davido dedicated some of his recently won awards to his late friends. He also cancelled some of his shows in honour of his deceased friends such as DJ Olu, Chime and Umeike.
