Body of man who jumped into Lagos lagoon from Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge recovered & identified
The Lagos State Management Agency (LASEMA) says it has found a body believed to be that of Oluseyi John who jumped into the lagoon from the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge.
John, believed to be about 40-year-old, was said to have dropped some of his belongings and plunged into the water on Friday.
After he was identified, the police said he was from Ondo state. The reason for his action is yet to be known.
John’s suicide attempt comes six months after Allwell Oji, a medical doctor, jumped into the lagoon from the Adekunle axis of the third mainland bridge. (TheCable)
