CCTV captured the sickening moment a barber was stabbed to death with a meat skewer over a “bad haircut”.

Pavel Luzyanin chased hairdresser Dany-Dastan Adkhamov into the street and stabbed him three times in the chest in revenge for his £2.60 trim the day before.

The assailant then walked away and the 24-year-old victim staggered to his feet helped by a passing cyclist.

The attacker then turned around, and seeing his victim was still alive, calmly walked back and coldly killed him by stabbing him in the neck with the barbecue skewer in front of bystanders who did nothing to deter him, according to police.

He died before an ambulance arrived.

The horrific footage is from the town of Troitsk, 23 miles south of Moscow.

The victim, known to his friends as Danya, was an illegal immigrant from Uzbekistan who has set up a thriving business with many regular customers offering cut price haircuts.

Luzyanin had come for a haircut on Friday, paid 200 roubles, and left, seemingly happy with his haircut.

But he had returned next day furious over it.

Danya agreed to improve the cut – and he went away again.

But his friends at a nearby car repair shop told him his hair was “cut like a prisoner”.

Vengeful Luzyanin told friends he “could not bear” the mockery, and he returned to seek out the barber.

“The client just grabbed Danya, pushed him out into the street and stabbed three times with a meat skewer,” said one account.

A witness for the brutal murder was the man who had led the teasing of Luzyanin over his haircut.

Luzyanin, 28, was stopped and detained by road traffic police soon after the killing as he sought to leave Moscow region, said shocked Russian senator Anton Belyakov in a Facebook posting.

Police revealed he had been jailed previously for robbery and car theft.

Danya’s clients are now raising money to send his body back to his family in Uzbekistan.

One said the barber had “golden hands” and could have got a job at a top salon if he had not been an illegal migrant worker

He was an only son, and his mother depended on the money he sent home.
