Tyler Perry Donates $1 million to Harvey Relief Efforts, And $250,000 is Going to Controversial Pastor Joel Osteen

Hollywood actor, director and producer, Tyler Perry, has announced that he’s donating $1 million to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

Tyler Perry, who disclosed this in a Facebook video, also defended

controversial Pastor Joel Osteen who was dragged for not opening up his megachurch sooner to those displaced by the flood, and further disclosed that he’s giving $250,000 of the one million to the Lakewood evangelist.

Tyler also said he personally knows the Osteens and knows for sure that they aren’t bad people.
