Real Madrid ‘sanction deal for Gareth Bale to join Manchester United’ as Jose Mourinho eyes huge transfer
Spanish outlet Don Balon reports Mourinho had convinced the United board to spend £90m to take Bale to Old Trafford
A deal for Manchester United has been ‘sanctioned’, according to a report in Spain.
Alex Porter from Mirror Football’s sister site Manchester Evening News writes that the Welshman has been linked with
United throughout the summer.
Jose Mourinho admitted that, should Bale become available, he would be interested in signing him.
Although the United manager called it ‘game over’ in the pursuit once Bale started the Super Cup clash for Real Madrid in Macedonia, that did not stop the speculation that he could be moved on this summer.
And Spanish outlet Don Balon reports Mourinho had convinced the United board to spend £90m to take Bale to Old Trafford, while the move was sanctioned by Real manager Zinedine Zidane and president Florentino Perez
