Real Madrid coach Zidane ready to rock Barcelona with Lopez ‘option’
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is prepared to pour more transfer market misery on Barcelona.
Barca are eyeing Marseille midfielder Maxime Lopez as a potential replacement for skipper Andres Iniesta this season.
The Catalans believe they have the inside running thanks to former Barca goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta now being OM sports director.
However, Diario Gol says Zidane will have first refusal on Lopez thanks to the two families being close.
Lopez is good friends with the Zidane brothers, especially Enzo, and its been suggested he has been assured by Zizou that a place is waiting for him in Madrid.
Real coach Zidane sees Lopez as a natural heir for Luka Modric .
