Tyler, the Creator announces his forthcoming studio album Flower Boy, which is set to arrive July 21 .Written and produced by Tyler himself, the LP is set to feature the two recently-dropped singles, as well as Flower-themed joints like “Where This Flower Blooms, ” “ Garden Shed ,” and “ Dropping Seeds. ” It is unclear how many artists will be featured on the project. None are unveiled in the tracklisting, but Frank Ocean does pop up on the recently-released “911/Mr. Lonely ” and A$AP Rocky appears on “ Who Dat Boy? “.
“911” part of the song. After that we get “Mr. Lonely, ” where the beat switches up to a more frenetic pace and Tyler’s thoughts seem to race as quickly as the new instrumental. It still ends with him referencing the number “911, ” though.For his part, Ocean pretty much plays it cool, serving up his typically emotive vocals as a sort of background music that blends in seamlessly with the diverse instrumental while still adding a thick layer of dopeness to the track . It’s no wonder he was almost featured on Young Thug’s newest album.
