Two Teachers Arraigned For Defiling 7 Pupils Alongside Nurse That Helped in Abortion
Two teachers, Oke Mustapha and Yisau Musiba , attached to Nazareth Junior and Senior College, Epe, Lagos State, have been arraigned on three counts bordering on sexual assault, at an Ogba Magistrate Court for allegedly defiling seven pupils of the school,alongside a native nurse, Abimbola Adessani, who administered drugs to abort the pregnancy of one of the defiled girls.
Speaking on the incident, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mr. Adesina Odeyemi, said the arrest followed the confession by the teachers to sexual abuse at a Personnel Management Board meeting to investigate the allegation.
He further disclosed that the students who were the complainants, had offered statements at the Lagos State Police Command, and that the government had ordered a comprehensive medical examination for the pupils to aid investigations.
